Confidentiality

a) Maintaining confidentiality is a vital part of the consultation process. All discussions and materials must be treated in strict confidence by all parties involved in the consultation process.

b) Any information and materials will be stored securely by Lifexpression. Access to such information will be restricted to those authorised persons within Lifexpression who have been suitably trained and need to know the information. No information concerning the client should be released to any unauthorised persons.

c)For legal purposes,any psychometric evaluations are confidentially destroyed after six months.

d) The Data Protection Act (1984) prohibits the unlawful use, processing or disclosure of personal information about individuals. Underlying the Act is a set of principles governing good practice, and Lifexpression is required to notify its use of personal data to the Information Commissioner where it is published in a public register. They cover information held both on computers and in manual records.

e) Lifexpression has adopted a Data Protection Policy,

Insurance Provisions

Lifexpression maintains all insurance cover imposed by law including Public Liability Insurance, Employer's Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Product Liability Insurance, which is obtained from insurers of good reputation and financial standing.
